Here's the match video of Kanako Murata vs Randa Markos from last night's UFC show in Las Vegas. Kanako's opponent was supposed to be Livinha Souza but she pulled out and Randa came in on short notice. She is from Windsor, ON and she trains at Michigan Top Team in Dearborn, MI. She's a wrestler but she makes too many mistakes. Kanako fights for RIZIN in Japan. Her problem is she is a Strawweight and RIZIN has mostly Atomweights. They farmed her out to Invicta. And after she won the Invicta Strawweight Championship, she now makes her UFC debut. Kanako had Olympic wrestling aspirations before MMA so her wrestling is elite already. And that's what we saw in this fight. Randa is supposed to be a wrestler but she couldn't handle Kanako's ground skills. Kanako won the fight easily 30-27. The big question is can Kanako be an elite fighter in the UFC. I think we will find out. Her wrestling could already be the best in the division. Enjoy the video!
