Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Sijara Eubanks vs Roxanne Modafferi added to Nov. 3 UFC show
A funny thing happened on the way to UFC 230 after Valentina Shevchenko vs Sijara Eubanks for the vacant UFC Flyweight Championship was announced. The UFC came to the conclusion that no one wanted to see this fight. I also think the possibility of Sijara missing weight was a big concern. Katlyn Chookagian was to be brought in as a standby. They decided to book Daniel Cormier vs Derrick Lewis for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. And Valentina was moved back to UFC 231 where she will now face Joanna Jedrzejczyk. So what to do with Sijara. Then Dustin Poirier pulled out of his match with Nate Diaz. They didn't consider replacing Poirier. It's unlikely Diaz would have accepted a new opponent. So they have announced that Sijara will now face Roxanne Modafferi on the UFC Fight Pass prelims. You may recall that Sijara beat Roxanne in the TUF 26 semi final. Then when Sijara couldn't make weight, Roxanne replaced her in the title match. They should still be concerned about Sijara making weight because she's really a Bantamweight. And as I said before, the real solution would have been to rebook Nicco Montano vs Valentina for UFC 230. The UFC only complicated things by being assholes.

Hard to argue with you there Frank. They certainly have behave like assholes lately. Towards their fighters and their fans. I am not at all impressed.
