Here's the match video of Kairi Sane vs Vanessa Borne from the latest episode of NXT. The purpose of this match is to set up Kairi's rematch with Shayna Baszler. But I thought Vanessa did a good job of heeling it up before the match. You can see her yelling at Kairi from across the ring and then she kicked Kairi's pirate hat. Of course this feeds into the angle of everyone underestimating Kairi because she's so cute and tiny. After Vanessa landed a suplex, Kairi made short work of her. And then Shayna came out and the rematch is set up for Evolution. Kairi is perfect in playing her role. And I thought Vanessa did a good job heeling it up. If she can improve her ring skills, she might be worth keeping around. Enjoy the video!
