To the surprise of no one, Amanda Lucas dominated HARI and submitted her in the first round at today's DEEP show. At least Amanda made weight this time. There were two problems with this fight. HARI is a terrible fighter and she was undersized at 70.3kg. There wasn't much to the fight. Amanda took HARI down, pounded her and finished her with a rear naked choke at 4:43 of round one. Why even bother? A mismatch like this is a waste of time. It does nothing for Amanda as a fighter. Until she fights some decent competition, she will never shed the celebrity fawning of the Japanese media. She says she wants to go down to 145. Whether she can make that weight remains to be seen.
