Artist:All Things New
Song:Believe
Album:The Good News
Fans of CCM bands like Building 429 might enjoy All Things New as they are very similar, maybe too similar. But as I have said before, the CCM audience is not discriminating. They lap up everything. All Things New is from Deltona, FL. They are singer Garrett Hornbuckle, guitarist Jeff Stein, bassist Joshua Schou and drummer Luke Wycuff. The name is after a bible verse. It's also a song by Big Daddy Weave. They met playing junior high school baseball. They also had a band that was part of a group of bands associated with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. At first they covered CCM songs. But now they write their own songs. After releasing a 2009 EP, All Things New signed with the CCM label BEC and released the 2013 album All Things New. Believe is from the 2015 album The Good News. The band wrote the song with Jeff Pardo and he produced the album. He was the 2022 Producer of the Year at the Dove awards. It's available as a budget CD. The first album did well. The second album not so much. After a 2020 EP, it looks like they may have lost their record deal and then split up. Their website is kaput and they haven't posted on Facebook since 2020. I don't think they were distinctive enough. They sound too much like other CCM bands. Here's the video for Believe by All Things New.
