AccuRadio Song Of The Day-Rush of Fools

Artist:Rush of Fools

Song:Undo

Album:Rush of Fools

The 2007 single Undo topped the Christian charts. It was all downhill for Rush of Fools from there. At this point, they don't seem to be active. They are from Birmingham, AL. The lead singer is Wes Willis. Other members are Jacob Huguley on guitar, JD Frazier on keyboards, Jacob Chestnut on bass and Jamie Sharpe on drums. After winning a contest called Band with a Mission, record companies came calling and they signed with Midas Records. I don't think they are in business anymore. Undo was the first single from their 2007 debut album Rush of Fools. Undo topped the Christian charts for a month in 2007. The band usually wrote all their own songs usually with a producer. Scott Davis produced and wrote the song with Wills and Huguley. The song won the ASCAP Christian Song of the Year. Subsequent albums did not do as well. After  two albums on Midas, they released albums on eOne and Provident. That final album was released in 2014. After That, Rush of Fools self released a few singles. It looks like the band ended in 2020. That's the last time they posted on Facebook. I think personnel changes and record company problems led to their demise. Sometimes a big hit the first time out leads to heightened expectations and a big thud when a band doesn't meet those expectations Here's the video for Undo by Rush of Fools.
