AccuRadio Song Of The Day-Todd Dulaney

Artist:Todd Dulaney
Song:Your Great Name
Album:Your Great Name

With his new CD Your Great Name, Todd Dulaney now has two chart topping gospel albums. He started out as a baseball player. He was born Dec. 20, 1983 in Maywood, IL near Chicago. He was a second baseman at Wabash Valley College when he was drafted by the New York Mets in the 32nd round in 2002. He played a couple of years in the Mets minor league system. He quit in 2005 to get into gospel music. He toured as a backup singer with Smokie Norful followed by stints with Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin and Michelle Williams. Dulaney released two albums on his own label. For the 2016 album A Worshipper's Heart, Dulaney signed with EOne. That album topped the gospel charts and so has his latest album Your Great Name. Dulaney got a big boost when his song Anthem was a big hit for the Australian Praise & Worship (P&W) group Planetshakers. P&W is a significant Christian music market that can generate a lot of sales for gospel music if those followers get interested in an artist. So I think it's fair to say that Todd Dulaney is a gospel artist on the rise. Here's the video for Your Great Name by Todd Dulaney.
