Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Jessica Penne vs Danielle Taylor added to Apr. 22 UFC show
During last night's broadcast, the UFC announced that UFC Fight Night 108 will be Apr. 22 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. This show will air on Fox Sports 1 in the US and TSN in Canada. A Strawweight match announced for this show has Jessica Penne vs Danielle Taylor. Remember when Jessica challenged Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the title and got clobbered. After a year off, she got clobbered again by Jessica Andrade. And now she is facing a fighter who probably doesn't belong in the UFC. And this fight will probably air on UFC Fight Pass. That is a very rapid fall. Danielle came into the UFC on short notice and lost when Maryna Moroz used her height advantage to keep away from her. Both fighters looked bad but Maryna didn't care because she only wanted the W. Then Danielle did the same thing to Ham Seo Hee and won by split decision. BTW, Ham has left the UFC and I expect her to work for Road FC. She can make more money there. Danielle's big problem is she is only five feet tall. So the keep away strategy is a good one to use on her. And Jessica needs a win. she shouldn't care how she gets it. If she loses, I would not be surprised to see Jessica retire as she has been working as a coordinator at Alliance in San Diego. Of course that is if she recognizes the writing on the wall.
