| WINDY Tomomi kicks Monica Lovato |
Today's PANCRASE show at Differ Ariake featured a women's match between veteran WINDY Tomomi and former boxing champ Monica Lovato. The match begins with WINDY using kicks to keep Monica off balance. Monica gets a takedown but WINDY reverses it and controls the rest of the round though she's not able to finish Monica. She was trying for a sleeper. This seemed to tire Monica out and WINDY scored throughout the second round and almost finished her with knees to the body. WINDY Tomomi wins by unanimous decision. For those who don't know, WINDY has been working on her ground game with Megumi Fujii and that work paid dividends today. Megumi was in her corner for this match.
