JEWELS announced on their blog the pro MMA match for the ROUGH STONE 2nd RING show Jan. 31 at the Caesar Gym. For those who don't know, the Caesar Gym is the home of Shoot Boxing. In a 53kg match scheduled for two five minute rounds, Yuko Kagoshima will face Hiroko Kitamura (pictured). Kagoshima trains at Shinagawa CS. Her record is 1-1 and her last fight was a loss to Mika Nagano in the ROUGH STONE tournament final on the Dec. 11 JEWELS show. Kitamura trains at the Koganei branch of Zendokai. She won her MMA debut over Harumi on the July 11 JEWELS show. Also, amateur grappling champ Utako Yuasa will be appearing in an exhibition match and will officially change her ring name to "Super high school girl" Ricaco. She will also particpate in the Feb. 6 DEEP-X amateur grappling show. I would not be surprised to see her make her pro debut on the Mar. 19 JEWELS show.
