Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Takayo Hashi added to Apr. 25 VALKYRIE show
VALKYRIE has added two matches to their Apr. 25 Differ Ariake show. Both are Welterweight matches contracted for 61.2kg. The first match has Takayo Hashi (pictured) against Chisa Yonezawa. Hashi's record is 11-1 and she is one of the top fighters in Japan and a former Smackgirl Middleweight Champ. Her most recent win was over Amanda Buckner at the Apr. 3, 2008 FFF show in Los Angeles. She's on a seven fight winning streak and has a win and a loss against Hitomi Akano. Hashi was under contract to EliteXC last summer but never got to fight for them. Yonezawa made her pro MMA debut with a loss to Roxanne Modafferi on the first VALKYRIE show in Nov. The other fight will be Mizuho Sato against Masae Mori. Sato is 3-2 and this will be her first pro match in almost two years. Her last fight was a win over Kinuka Sasaki on the May 26, 2007 Shooto show. She's been competing in amateur tournaments and won the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament in Asia last year. Mori is making her pro MMA debut. She was supposed to appear in an amateur match on the first VALKYRIE show but her opponent dropped out due to injury. Her training is in karate.
