Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.
Good podcast Frank, I did not finish the other one you posted. I did hear you talk about how you did not like Kaitlin Young. I am sorry to hear this, but I understand Frank. Thanks so much for the commentary about the fights on UFC. It's to bad about Tecia Torres, I like her, but maybe it is time for her to retire. I am surprised about Liz Carmouche losing and not being more aggressive in the fight. To bad for her. Thanks Frank. David
I understand the Kaitlin Young nostalgia because she was a big part of early WMMA on TV. But if there was any money in kickboxing she never would have tried MMA in the first place. That KO of Meisha on Hook 'n' Shoot and her looks got her on CBS fighting Gina. That KO got her a career despite not being very good at MMA. In recent years she left MMA and moved to Thailand to continue kickboxing. But her win over King Reina in Rizin in Japan told her that she could get some paydays in Invicta as a Featherweight. And of course they were happy to oblige. Now that it's over she can return to Thailand with cash in her pocket. So it's not that I don't like her. But she's never been a good MMA fighter and she knows that too.
All good point there Frank. I have to agree with you there. She probably will go back to Thailand and to Kickboxing. It is what did first and does best. David.
