Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Big Bad Blog Video Theater-Valentina Shevchenko vs Liz Carmouche
Here's the match video of Valentina Shevchenko defending the UFC Flyweight Championship against Liz Carmouche from last night's UFC show in Uruguay. So I warned you guys that this fight could be a big dud. As a kickboxer, Valentina typically is a counterpuncher who reacts to what her opponent does. So if Liz is aggressive, the fight could be decent. I didn't think Liz could beat Valentina anyway. But it could have been half decent. But instead Liz stood there for five rounds and did nothing. Round one was so bad I scored it 9-9. When it became clear that doing nothing was Liz's strategy, Valentina did enough to pitch a 50-45 shutout. Based on what her corner told her between rounds, Liz executed the planned strategy. And she admitted it afterwards. There is a difference between fighting to win and fighting to not lose. If Liz and her trainer Manny Hernandez though that was a winning strategy, they are dopes. If they were planning to lose 50-45, it went perfectly. Check out the video for yourself.
