Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Big Bad Blog Video Theater-Smackdown Women's Battle Royal
Here's the match video of the women's battle royal from last night's episode of Smackdown. Smackdown Women's Champion Becky Lynch returned to Smackdown last night after recovering from a concussion. The plan was for her to defend against Charlotte Flair on TLC Dec. 16. Of course the storyline is that Charlotte has been handed opportunities mostly because she is Ric Flair's daughter. The Smackdown wonen's locker room led by Mandy Rose comes out to complain about this. Smackdown GM Paige books a battle royal. The winner is added to the TLC title match. Though WWE battle royals tend to be blah like the one on Evolution, I thought this would be a good opportunity to get Asuka back into the title picture. And her match layout will be better than what we would normally see. The first half of the match was by the numbers and boring. But it got more interesting when it got down to Asuka, Naomi, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. I can only assume that Asuka wanted to show that battle royals can be done differently than how the WWE usually does them. And that included a Shining Wizard on the ring apron. It was executed exactly as planned and Asuka won the battle royal and gets the title shot. There was no margin for error. One mistake and Asuka hits the floor. Will Asuka win the title? I dunno. But it didn't take much to get her back into the title picture. Enjoy the video!
