Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

It's deja vu all over again as Winter wins TNA Knockouts championship
Remember last month's TNA PPV when Winter won the TNA Knockouts Championship from Mickie James by spraying liquid (they're portraying it as blood but of course it isn't) in Mickie James eyes. Then Mickie won the title back on an episode of Impact. So why would they do the same ending on this month's PPV? And they did the same ending in two other matches on the show. Is TNA that clueless? It certainly seems so. The match itself was OK until the ridiculous overbooked ending. Mickie wore a Wonder Woman themed outfit. Winter got most of her offense in the first half of the match. At the end, Earl Hebner once again looks like a moron and sees nothing. And they also tease a Winter/Angelina Love split which will continue on this week's Impact. They like to endlessly tease stuff like that for months and then not do it. Look, Winter is a good wrestler from when I saw her a few years ago. But this character is wretched. You can see during this match she has some decent moves. But this overdramatic staring into space crap is ludicrous. And you can tell that Tazz doesn't like it either as he doesn't know what to say about Winter. But TNA typically doesn't seem to know when a character or angle isn't working and they won't ditch it. Even outrageous wrestling characters are better when they make sense. The Winter character is nonsense. The latest nonsense has Karen Jarrett managing the Knockouts division. I guess they just want to give her something to do. Nothing good can come of it. Enjoy the match video.
