Here's the match video of Hikaru Shida and Skye Blue vs Toni Storm and Ruby Soho from last night's episode of AEW Rampage. This is another example of a pointless timewaster. You have a big match coming up at All In and two of the four wrestlers who will be in that match aren't in this match. This was my first time seeing Skye Blue. She takes a beating through most of the match. I've seen a lot of online slurping like "Gawrsh, she's so bee-yoo-ti-ful". She's OK but nothing special. Her real name is Skye Dolecki. She made her debut in 2017 in Chicago indies until she arrived in AEW in 2021. She's in this match strictly to take a beating. I don't see what that does for her. And that's the problem with the match. It's too one sided and then Hikaru wins over Ruby with jacknife pin. It's like they are trying to make Hikaru look like a fluke champ. And after the match The Outcasts attack and then Britt Baker makes the save. So why didn't Britt come with Hikaru and Skye to neutralize the outside interference. Shhh, they don't want you to ask logical questions. Enjoy the video!
