Here's the match video of Toni Storm defending her AEW Women's Championship against Hikaru Shida from last night's 200th episode of AEW Dynamite. This was the main event of the show. With The Outcasts at ringside, I expected a non finish of some sort. The match was pretty good. Hikaru looked great as usual and Toni looked better than usual. The Outcasts did interfere but Hikaru zonked Ruby Soho on the top of her head with her kendo stick. Typical of AEW, the ref was completely useless during this match. Also typical of AEW was the use of false finishes. But when Hikaru kicked out of Toni's Storm Zero finisher after spray painting Hikaru in the face, I knew Hikaru would win as they had to get off the air. And Hikaru won with a flash roll up pin off all things. Congratulations to Hikaru on winning the AEW Women's Championship. So AEW's All In show will be Aug. 27, 2023 at Wembley Stadium in London. What put a crimp in AEW's plans for this title was when Jamie Hayter was got hurt and they had to get the belt off her. You'll notice that they don't use interim titles anymore. Then they discovered that Jamie won't return for All In. I don't expect Hikaru to hold on to this title for very long because she goes home on a regular basis. There are a couple of ways they can go. Toni could get a rematch and regain the belt. Or they could have Saraya win it in England. But a quick title switch is likely. Enjoy the video!
