Today's edition of Big Bad Blog Video Theater is Mickie James defending her TNA Knockout Championship against Madison Rayne from last night's TNA PPV with the added stipulation that if Mickie wins, Tara is no longer tied to Madison. Obviously they've been building up to this for a few weeks and we all know how it's going to end. And of course before the match, Madison forbids Tara from coming down to the ring. That reinforces the ending. The match itself was nothing special. It was a standard Impact match. I saw some complaints online that it was a bad match. The problem wasn't the match itself. It was ruined by the lunkheaded execution of the finish. They needed two...count 'em...two ref bumps to give Tara the opportunity to decide who to clobber with the loaded glove. And it seemed to take her a couple of hours to decide. It should have gone a lot quicker because we all knew what she wanted to do. What's the big decision? I apologize for bringing logic into the equation. That's TNA for you. They can't even change the company name properly because TNA management can't agree on whether they should even do that. If they can't do that, they can't possibly execute a standard wrestling angle properly. Enjoy the video.
