Big Bad Blog Video Theater-Asuka and The Miz vs Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman

Here's the match video of Asuka and The Miz vs Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman from Tuesday's Mixed Match Challenge. I don't get to see it live because Facebook Watch is only available in the US. There were technical problems with the video so it was delayed a day. This is a semi final of the MMC. Of course the big story is The Streak and how does Asuka prevent Strowman from killing The Miz and her streak. I know at one point the WWE considered ending Asuka's streak on MMC but that was dropped when they signed Ronda Rousey. Now they plan to keep it going until next year. But they have to have commentary sell that the streak could end. So obviously Strowman beats up The Miz for most of the match. The turning point comes when Asuka tags in and instead of going back to his corner like he was supposed to, Strowman goes after The Miz and rams him through the ringside barrier. Asuka clamps on the Asuka Lock and it's over. The Streak is safe and Asuka and The Miz go on to the final. The other semi final will have Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair vs Finn Balor and Sasha Banks who won the second chance fan vote. The final is on Mar. 3. Is it a good idea to have Asuka and Charlotte in the same ring before Wrestlemania? I wouldn't do that but who knows what the WWE is thinking? Enjoy the video!
