Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

HIROKO wins at SHOOT BOXING show
There was one MMA match at today's SHOOT BOXING show at the Akasaka Grand Prince Hotel. I don't like Shoot Boxing so I don't write about it. I think the tournament was fixed. That's all I have to say about it. So after all the stuff that happened while finding an opponent for JEWELS fighter HIROKO, it didn't take very long for her to send Aussie kickboxer Sandy Furner on a one way trip to palookaville. Sandy tried to come out punching. But HIROKO's straight left sent Sandy to the mat. She followed this with a single leg takedown and proceeded to mount Sandy and pound her with hammer punches. Then HIROKO put her forearm on Sandy's throat and held it there with her other hand and it was over at 1:45 of round one. Will this get HIROKO a Strikeforce contract and a shot at Cris Cyborg? Stay tuned. Nanae Takahashi and Fuuka were supposed to have a Shoot Boxing exhibition. But based on the pics that I saw, it turned into pro wrestling with body slams and suplexes. The goofiness was suitable for this show.

Yeah, those Nanae-Fuuka photos made it clear that Nanae isn't taking MMA or Shoot Boxing seriously and that's why she played with Fuuka rather than fighting a real fighter like HIROKO.
