Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Rin Nakai interview
22 year old Rin Nakai is rapidly becoming one of the rising stars of women's MMA in Japan. Folks are starting to take note since her recent victory over tough veteran WINDY Tomomi on the Dec. 5 Pancrase show. She is now 5-0. Our friends at the Gravity Japanese Women's MMA Blog sat down with Rin after her training session. Of course Rin is known as the Beautiful Backflip Woman because she does a backflip after each victory. So I'm sure it won't surprise anyone that she took gymnastics as a child. Rin also took judo classes and by junior high got interested in grappling mainly because she was told she couldn't do it. From there she got into MMA. Like a lot of performers, Rin gets butterflies before her matches but they go away when the match starts. In her match with Tomomi, her trainer just told her to be aggressive and that's what she did. Her primary fear is defeat and that can be very motivating. Of course Rin says she wants to be a champion in the future. Her trainer says she still needs to work on mental preparation. Rin is young so has plenty of time. In her spare time, she likes to buy treats for her dog. If you go to her page on Sherdog, there is a picture of Rin with her pug. Rin Nakai seems to have a bright future in MMA and all fans are looking forward to see what she does next.
