Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Erin Toughill's next fight announced
Palace Fighting Championships announced today that their next show will be Feb. 6 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, CA. The show will be a mix of MMA and boxing. PFC announced the signing of former WWE wrestler Bobby Lashley among others but the big news is that Erin Toughill (pictured) will continue her comeback and face veteran AJ Jenkins. Toughill's record is 8-2-1 but her Nov. 20 win over Jan Finney was her return to MMA after a two year hiatus. Erin left MMA for pro boxing and more recently was on the second season of American Gladiators. And though nothing has been said by NBC, The Hollywood Reporter has reported that NBC has quietly cancelled American Gladiators. At 10-2, AJ is also a veteran fighter. Her most recent fight was a loss to Kelly Kobold on a Mar. 10, 2007 show in Minneapolis that was taped for DVD. Her fights don't usually go the distance. As with Erin's last fight, this will be at 150lbs. AJ normally fights at 135 meaning she is stepping up to a heavier weight class. As with the last PFC show, hopefully this will be broadcast live on Sherdog. Both are experienced fighters so it should be a good test for Erin Toughill.

Can't see this one being near as good as Finney-Toughill, but I'll probably still check it out.
