Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Satoko Shinashi on Oct. 23 DEEP show
DEEP held a press conference yesterday to announce part of the card for DEEP 38 IMPACT on Oct. 23 at Korakuen Hall. DEEP Womens Flyweight Champion Satoko Shinashi will have a match on the show. It's a non title match. Shinashi's record is 28-2-2 and most recently lost to the much heavier pro wrestler Mai Ichii on the May 19 DEEP show. The obvious problem is she's so tiny that it's difficult to find opponents for her. So she ended up doing a match that was a real embarassment. Normally she puts on a better show than that. Her opponent is veteran fighter Yukiko Seki. Seki trains at Megumi Yabushita's Tomoegumi dojo and her record is 4-13. She's on a four fight losing streak. Her most recent loss was to DEEP Lightweight Champ MIKU on the Dec. 9 DEEP show but before that she lost to Brandy Nerney on the Nov. 3 FFF show in Los Angeles. Obviously she's experienced but she loses a lot. She is a Flyweight. Shinashi posted the show poster on her blog and I have borrowed it to accompany this article.

Seki lost to Brandy Nerney? Good Lord. I remeber Nerney being beaten but good on a previous FFF show" Asian Invasion" I do not remember Nerney's opponent off the top of my head, only that she put a RNC on Nerney quickly in the first round and it was all over. Seki will not last long in this match against Satoko. No way. Defshepard
