Eddie Palmieri is a latin jazz pianist from New York. For some reason, he's not as well known as other jazz musicians probably because he has rarely been on a major label. This version of a Horace Silver classic is from his latest CD on Concord Picante. It features violinist Regina Carter, a musician I'm not crazy about but she does well here.
