Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Lina Lansberg vs Tonya Evinger added to June 1 UFC show
The UFC Europe Twitter just announced that Lina Lansberg vs Tonya Evinger has been added to UFC on ESPN+ 10 June 1 at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. This fight will be at Bantamweight. Lina is 37 years old from Malmo, Sweden. She trains with former UFC fighter Akira Corassani. Her record is 8-4 and 2-3 in the UFC. She came to the UFC as a Cris Cyborg sacrifice. Otherwise I don't think she would be in the UFC. Lina is a kickboxer known as The Elbow Queen. But she isn't much of an MMA fighter. Her striking isn't even that good. Tonya is also 37 years old. She is from St. Louis but she lives in Houston. Her record is 19-8-1NC and 0-2 in the UFC. I think it's fair to say that Tonya is a women's MMA pioneer. She debuted in 2006. Interestingly, she also came to the UFC as a Cris Cyborg sacrifice. Before that she was Invicta Bantamweight Champion. And before that she failed to make the TUF 18 house. After the Cyborg fight, she was forced to pull out of a fight due to a knee injury. And then she lost to hot prospect Aspen Ladd Oct. 2018. There's no question that Tonya is a more accomplished fighter than Lina. She should win this fight. But what if she loses. My assessment of this fight is whoever loses goes on a one way trip to Palookaville.
