Lucie Pudilova tweeted that she will face Liz Carmouche on UFC on ESPN+ 3 Feb. 23 at O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic. This fight will be at Flyweight. It's a big deal for Lucie as she is 24 years old from Pribram, Czech Republic. Her record is 8-3 and 2-2 in the UFC. This will be her first fight at Flyweight as her previous fights were at Bantamweight. Lucie came to the UFC as a late replacement on a 2017 European show. She lost her last fight to Irene Aldana because she didn't keep her hands up. That's a basic thing and it's not like Irene is a worldbeater. Liz is 34 years old. She trains at San Diego Combat Club. Her record is 12-6 and 4-4 in the UFC. She's 1-1 at Flyweight. She is most famous for appearing in the very first UFC women's bout vs Ronda Rousey. I have watched her since she was in Strikeforce and she was nothing special then. And injuries have slowed her down considerably. She seems to like to use lay and pray these days. That's how she beat former Invicta Flyweight champ Jennifer Maia in her last fight because Jennifer is useless on the ground. This was a case of Invicta building up an overrated fighter who looked awful in her UFC debut. So I expect Liz to go the lay and pray route again. That could be a tough slog.Flyweight I am here 😈 Happy to say I will fight Liz Carmouche at #UFCPrague 🇨🇿 It’s a great honour for our country. I look forward to new challenges at 125 pic.twitter.com/vRsnCDbhCG

Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.
