Here's the match video of Antonina Shevchenko vs Ji Yeon Kim from last night's TUF 28 Finale in Las Vegas. Of course Antonina is the older sister of Valentina Shevchenko. She is also a kickboxer and she's not as experienced at MMA. Ji is a Korean fighter who came in on short notice. She also missed weight. Like most Korean fighters, she's a kickboxer. So I did not expect a finish. I don't think either of them can punch hard enough to break an egg. Valentina won the fight easily mostly because the boneheads on Ji's corner told her to counterpunch. Jimmy Smith mentioned it on air because obviously he thought it was terrible strategy. And that's why Ji lost the fight. Antonina is nowhere near as good as her sister. This fight was three rounds of patty cake and Antonina won by unanimous decision. Check it out for yourself.
