The UFC announced this afternoon that Holly Holm vs Aspen Ladd has been added to UFC 235 Mar. 2 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This fight will be at Bantamweight. Holly's last two fights were at Featherweight. And as shallow as that division is I am surprised she is returning to Bantamweight. her win over Megan Anderson was very impressive and I don't think it would take much for her to get another title shot. And this is a very tough fight. Aspen is 23 years old. She trains at MMA Gold in El Dorado Hills, CA. Her record is 7-0 and 2-0 in the UFC. I have had my eye on her since she debuted in Invicta. I like that she finishes fights. She has finished six of her seven fights. And in her last fight, Aspen finished Tonya Evinger in the first round. That was by ground and pound but she has also won by submission. For a 23 year old, she is a very mature and poised fighter. Some might say that Holly's experience could give her an edge. But I think Aspen's quickness could tip the scales. We will know early on if Holly can't keep up with Aspen, this fight won't last very long. The winner of this fight should get a title shot.Holm vs Ladd added to UFC 235 | UFC - Ready for WAR against one of the very best in the world #MMAGOLD https://t.co/pTEeGyqdtZ

Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Should be a good fight Frank. As you have said, Aspen Ladd finishes her fights as she did with Tonya Evinger. I think she should win this fight. I do not think Holly will be able to match her speed or endurance. But then again, Holly Holmes is pretty tough and a very good fighter who likes to finish her fights as well. This should be a very good fight Frank and not a boring one.
