Here's the fight video of Jamey-Lyn Horth vs Ivana Petrovic from last night's UFC show in Edmonton. Jamey-Lyn is 34 years old from Squamish, BC. She trains at The Sound Martial Arts with coaches Kasey and Cole Smith. Her UFC record is 1-1. Ivana is 30 years old. She trains at Orion MMA Academy in Norway with her brother Sasa Petrovic. I don't think either fighter belongs in the UFC but I will explain why they are there. The fight was terrible. I saw nothing from either fighter that makes me think they will get anywhere. I scored round one for 10-9 for Ivana. And I scored rounds two and three 10-9 for Jamey-Lyn. So I scored the fight 29-28 for Jamey-Lyn. But the fight was so bad that the judges scorecards were all over the place. One judge scored it 30-27 for Jamey-Lyn. One judge scored it 29-28 for Jamey-Lyn. And the third scored it 29-28 for Ivana. So Jamey-Lyn won by split decision. I don't blame the judges. It was a very difficult fight to score. So why are these fighters in the UFC? Well, they need Canadian and European fighters when they go to those places. But these two are pretty bad. Enjoy the video!
