Artist:Remedy Drive
Song:All Along
Album:Daylight Is Coming
Remedy Drive is a CCM band that should remind you of Coldplay. The 2009 single All Along was a top ten CCM hit. It was founded in 1998 by the Zach brothers from Lincoln, NE. David Zach is the lead singer and main songwriter. He's the only original member still in the band. The others were Paul Zach on guitar, Philip Zach on bass and Daniel Zach on drums. They grew up in a Christian household with no TV. They were big fans of CCM singer songwriter Keith Green. At first they were called The Asian Band and released the album Remedy. The band name was changed to Remedy Drive. After releasing several albums independently, they signed with Word Records and released the 2008 album Daylight Is Coming. The album was produced by Ian Eskelin of All Star United. David Zach wrote most of the songs including All Along which reached #10 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart. When David Zach decided to move to Nashville in 2010, the others decided to stay home. Philip Zach owns a recording studio in Lincoln. David Zach formed an all new Remedy Drive and released two albums on Centricity. Since then Remedy Drive has become a David Zach solo act. He has released three albums on his own label, most recently in 2021. It looks like Zach hires musicians for touring. Here's the video for All Along by Remedy Drive.
