Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Marion Reneau vs Ashlee Evans-Smith added to Feb. 21 UFC show
Marion Reneau, Ashlee Evans-Smith
The UFC has added a Women's Bantamweight match to UFC Fight Night 82 Feb. 21 at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. It will be Marion Reneau vs Ashlee Evans-Smith. This will air on Fox Sports 1 in the US and TSN in Canada. Marion won her first two UFC fights. But then she looked really bad in a loss to Holly Holm last spring. Afterwards, the talk was that Marion was fighting with a broken rib. If that was true, she should have dropped out of the fight. Fighters need to be a lot smarter than that. Ashlee lost her UFC debut to Raquel Pennington in Dec. 2013 by bulldog choke. She came in as a late replacement for an injured Holly Holm. Then she was suspended for a year for testing positive for diuretics. Diuretics help with weight cutting. That's why we haven't heard anything about her. She just finished the suspension. So both fighters are on the comeback trail.
