As joshi puroresu fans are aware, Ice Ribbon has created the offshoot 19 O'Clock Wrestling which broadcasts live on UStream weekly. It's an interesting experiment. I've seen a few matches. They're hit and miss. Some of the wrestlers are OK. Some are not. So on their latest show, they had an IW 19 Championship tournament. The tournament final was Tsukasa Fujimoto vs Tsukushi. Maybe you haven't seen the 19 O'Clock product. Here's your chance to check it out. Fujimoto is wearing blue and Tsukushi is wearing green. You'll notice that Fujimoto already has a couple of title belts so some think she'll be a big star. She's got that idol wrestler look and she's OK in the ring. She's not doing anything complicated. She controls the first half of the match and then later Tsukushi busts out some high flying moves. She seems to execute those OK but she can't throw a punch. Geez! I hate that. Learn to throw a damn punch. The match is OK. It's not great and Tsukushi upsets Fujimoto in the end. Maybe they need a live crowd. Fujimoto already has two title belts. She doesn't need another one. And Sakura Emi is promoting 19 O'Clock as a standalone product. She's trying to create stars with it. Hopefully Tsukushi will stick because some Ice Ribbon wrestlers don't stay very long. Enjoy the video!
