JWP owner Commando Bolshoi announced today that Azumi Hyuga will return on the Sept. 23 Korakuen Hall show. She will team with Tsubasa Kuragaki against the NEO team of Yoshiko Tamura & Misae Genki. Of course Hyuga has unfinished business with Tamura. Hyuga will also participate in a talk show with Sachie Abe & Arisa Nakajima. I guess they're going to talk about injuries as that's what they have in common. Abe has been out with eye surgery and Nakajima suffered a separated shoulder on a recent New AJW show. Hyuga had knee surgery in early June and she's a very hard worker so I am not surprised she is returning so quickly. The main event of this show has Kayoko Haruyama defending the JWP Open Weight Championship against Yumiko Hotta. I expect Haruyama to retain and Hyuga to get a title shot around Christmas time. Tamura is still a factor because many fans still want to see a rematch of the Hyuga/Tamura 60 minute draw from Dec. 24, 2006. NEO & JWP have both been guilty of screwing around when they should have done that match mid 2007. Now neither of them have title belts.
