This is Billy Porter's third CD but the first one to get noticed. Porter is a Broadway performer who grew up singing in church in his native Pittsburgh. Like Heather Headley, he's taking his Broadway experience and applying it to his gospel/soul roots. It's a very effective combination. Check him out.
