Here's the match video of Virna Jandiroba vs Mallory Martin from last night's UFC show in Washington, DC. Virna is a former Invicta champ fro Brazil. She lost her UFC debut to Carla Esparza. Mallory was the third fighter booked for this fight. She came in with two weeks notice. The match went about as expected. Virna dominated round one and then won with a rear naked choke in round two. Mallory attempted an ill advised guillotine choke in round one. Too much exertion pooped her out. Virna needed that win after the loss in her debut. She looked more like the fighter we saw in Invicta. Mallory didn't look like she should be in the UFC. That's not unusual with short notice replacements.
