Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Big Bad Blog Video Theater-Asuka vs Deonna Purrazzo
Here's the match video of Asuka vs Deonna Purrazzo from last night's episode of RAW. You may have seen Deonna as an NXT enhancement talent a few years ago. At the time she was working mostly for ROH but also other companies. They haven't done much with her since she signed with NXT May 2018. She works house shows but is rarely on TV. Maybe she is being moved to RAW. She's an OK wrestler but nothing special. Since she hasn't been used much, it makes me wonder why they signed her. Possibly to keep her from signing elsewhere. She kicks Asuka to the floor before the start of the match. The match is a semi-competitive squash match. Deonna gets some offense in and even a near fall. But Asuka applies the Asuka Lock and that's it. Afterwards, Becky Lynch does an interview that will set up a match against Asuka. And that will continue to develop on next week's RAW which was taped last night. To follow up on yesterday, The WWE did not clear Kairi Sane for last night's tapings. But it was announced this morning that she will return on the Dec. 26 Madison Square Garden house show. That is the first show after the Christmas break. So Kairi is fine. I don't know if she suffered a mild concussion or what. She has a history of concussions so it's like I said when she came to the WWE in 2017. The WWE needs to keep an eye on that. Concussions are not predictable except that too many too frequently would be a problem. I'm glad she's OK as I think we all enjoy watching her perform. Enjoy the video!
