Here's the match video of Irene Aldana vs Ketlen Vieira from last night's UFC show in Las Vegas. On paper, Ketlen is a much better fighter than Irene. It's not even close. But Ketlen is returning from knee surgery and we haven't seen her in almost two years. She looked OK in round one which was uneventful until Irene knocked her out with a left hook out of nowhere. That makes Irene a top contender for Amanda Nunes' UFC Bantamweight Championship. But since Amanda plans to defend her Featherweight Championship next, Irene won't get an immediate title shot anyway. Maybe a match against Aspen Ladd to determine Amanda's next challenger might be in order. Irene has never finished a fight with one punch. Maybe it was a fluke. Enjoy the video!
