Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Talita de Oliveira in for Germaine de Randamie on Sept. 2 UFC show
Last week the UFC announced that Germaine de Randamie pulled out of her fight with Marion Reneau on UFC Fight Night 115 Sept. 2 at Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Remember when Germaine won the Featherweight belt in February and she said she might need surgery on her hand. Well, she never did anything about it and now she can't fight. Oy vey! Anyway I heard over the weekend that the UFC found a replacement. And today MMA Brasil reports that Talita de Oliveira is that replacement. This show will air on Fox Sports 1 in the US and TSN in Canada. Originally this fight was supposed to air on the main card. But with the change it looks like it will air on UFC Fight Pass. Talita trains at PRVT so she is a teammate of Jessica Andrade. Her record is 4-1 mostly on the Brazilian regional circuit. But her last fight was a win over Iren Racz on the Apr. 8 Ladies Fight Night show on Poland. All her wins have been by submission. She was supposed to fight on the July 21 LFA show but her opponent missed weight and the fight was cancelled. Obviously she's unproven but that's what you get sometimes with a late replacement.
