Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Heather Jo Clark vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz added to May 8 UFC show
This morning the UFC announced that Heather Jo Clark vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz has been added to UFC Fight Night 87 May 8 at Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This will be the UFC's first appearance in The Netherlands, a country that has always been a hotbed of kickboxing. This show will air on Fox Sports 1 in the US and TSN in Canada. I expect this fight to air on the prelims maybe on UFC Fight Pass. The last time we saw Heather was in TUF 20. She won over Bec Rawlings in the TUF Finale Dec. 2014 and then she had knee surgery. This is her first fight upon recovery. One never knows how a fighter will perform after that. She trains at Syndicate in Las Vegas. One plus about Heather is she is a good talker. Karolina won her UFC debut over Randa Markos by unanimous decision in Dec. though I scored the fight in Randa's favour. I would describe her as a points fighter. She's a kickboxer with no power or ground game. The maxim in the fight game is never let the fight go to the judges. A points fighter is depending on the judges to score the fight in her favour. Eventually her luck will run out. Because of her surgery, Heather is a question mark as well. So this fight could answer questions about both fighters.
