AccuRadio Song Of The Day-The Taylors

Artist:The Taylors

Song:Love Still Flows

Album:Faithful Again

The Taylors will be of interest to fans of Southern Gospel. It's a subset aimed mostly at an older audience. Ernie Haase and Bill Gaither are probably the biggest names in Southern Gospel. The Taylors are a family group from Lillington, NC. Their father has been minister at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lillington for over 30 years. Their mother is music minister. So obviously they grew up singing harmonies in church. They don't play any instruments or write songs. There were four siblings at first. Jonathan Taylor is tenor, Leslie Taylor Perkins is soprano, Suzanne Taylor Hise is is alto and Christopher Taylor is bass. They started performing in 2006. They won awards at the 2006 North Carolina Singing Convention and the 2008 National Quartet Convention. They started touring mostly churches in the south. They were popular in the Southern Gospel circuit doing 200 dates a year. After releasing three albums independently, they signed with Stowtown Records in 2014. This label is owned by Southern Gospel legend Ernie Haase and veteran producer Wayne Haun. They are the right label for Southern Gospel acts. After the 2014 album Measure of Grace, Leslie left The Taylors so she and her husband could be ministers at a church in Myrtle Beach. So The Taylors became a trio for the 2016 album Faithful Again. Haun produced the album and he wrote Love Still Flows with songwriters Jeff Bumgardner and Joel Lindsey. Lindsey has been around since the 90s. This is The Taylors' latest album and I am sure they will return to touring after the pandemic. Here are The Taylors performing Love Still Flows 2016.
