Here's the match video of Irene Aldana vs Lucie Pudilova from last night's UFC show in Dallas. Usually when we see two low level women fighters in the UFC, they are usually very tentative and it turns out to be three rounds of light sparring. But Lucie is an aggressive fighter so she actually wants to win the fight as opposed to not lose. The problem is her defense is awful. And that's the opening Irene needed to use counterpunching to win the fight. Irene won by split decision. I scored it 29-28 for Lucie. To win the fight, all she had to do is keep her hands up. Her defense was non existent. I know this won Fight of the Night and fans really enjoyed it. But it didn't make me think that either fighter can beat anyone good. Enjoy the video!
