Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Women's matches on Nov. 10 DEEP/CMA show
A press conference was held today to announce a joint show promoted by DEEP and CMA Korea Nov. 10 at Korakuen Hall. Most of the matches feature Japanese and Korean fighters. Two women's matches have been announced for the show. The first match is at 58kg between Miki Morifuji (pictured) and Han So Loo (I think). Morifuji trains at T-Blood and her record is 7-6. Her latest fight was a loss to Hitomi Akano on the July 11 JEWELS show. Han is a CMA Korea fighter. History tells me that she is a kickboxer making her MMA debut. The second match is a 51kg match between Amiba and Masako Yoshida. Amiba trains at DEEP. Her record is 2-1 and her last fight was a loss to Yuko Kagoshima on the Sept. 13 JEWELS show. Freelancer Masako Yoshida is 16-14-5 and her last fight was a win over Yasuko Mogi on the May 24 SHOOTO show. She also has a fight this weekend in the US against Elena Reid. Masako is known to fight a very heavy schedule. This is nothing new for her. I didn't see anything about the number or length of the rounds. This show is on Thanksgiving in Japan so it's pretty big.

I think Japanese Thanksgiving (which is really like their Labor Day) is later in November. The DEEP/CMA show is just a "fan thanksgiving" event.
