Women's match added to Oct. 25 SHOOTO show

SHOOTO announced today that they have added a women's match to their Oct. 25 show at Gold Mine in Nagoya City. It's a Bantamweight match (125lb) scheduled for two five minute rounds between Kniuka Sasaki (pictured on the right) and Ayuka Hamazaki. Sasaki trains at ALIVE. They are sponsoring the event. Her record is 3-6-1 and her last fight was a win over Kazue Matake on the Feb. 28 CAGE FORCE show. Hamazaki trains at AACC and is making her pro debut. She did appear in an amateur match on the July JEWELS show. She earned this pro match by winning the Bantamweight division at the All Japan Amateur SHOOTO Championships in Kanagawa Sept. 27. Apparently she's a very good grappler so she's the likely favourite in this match.
