Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Is Fuuka finally leaving joshi?
Over the last year or so, it has been rumoured that Fuuka will leave the joshi business and become a shoot boxer. She hasn't denied it and has said that she hasn't decided yet. My guess is she'll quit joshi after her next anniversary. You know, get the big payday and leave. Now we're seeing signs that there may be more to the story. It was recently reported that Fuuka is training with Dutch K-1 star Andy Souwers. Last week Souwers won the K-1 World Max Tournament for the third time. Naigai Times did an interview with Fuuka and Souwers yesterday and it looks like he's fallen for her. They asked Souwers if he knew Fuuka before he started training her and he saw her in Shoot Boxing and vaguely knew about her wrestling career. He thought she was very attractive. Fuuka wanted to train with Souwers because he's the best but now that she's gotten to kinow him, she's says he's quite a gentleman. She says she's learning a lot from him and now Souwers is talking about taking her home to The Netherlands to train. She hasn't said no. Could this be a match made in heaven? I dunno but one way or another I expect Fuuka to quit the joshi business in 2010.

Interesting stuff. Souwer only won his semifinal bout in K-1 MAX last week though; the semsfinals are in October.
