Hashimoto resigns but MAKEHEN continues

MAKEHEN owner Tomo Hashimoto announced today that he is resigning as president of the company. The company lawyer proceeded to announce that MAKEHEN will continue under new ownership. Of course Hashimoto was arrested recently for extorting money from a restaurant owner in Tokyo. In his statement, he apologized for the arrest but also claimed that his accuser was supposed to be an investor in MAKEHEN. The first show for the new MAKEHEN will be Aug. 16 in Osaka. They didn't seem to indicate who the new ownership is but my guess is Hashimoto only resigned on paper and will still run the company. Of course he can't be seen so he won't be on any of the shows. I'm not sure what this means to the Shirai sisters or Basara. But the Shirais are very loyal to Hashimoto so I expect them to stay. And Basara is out with a concussion right now and she's cancelled all future appearances. Be sure to check my Twitter for updates.
