Toyota has been involved in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series since 2004. Bill Davis Racing will likely be the flagship Nextel Cup team for Toyota. Davis currently runs two Dodges in Nextel Cup, #22-Dave Blaney & #55 Michael Waltrip but Davis also runs Toyota Craftsman Trucks for Mike Skinner, Bill Lester & Johnny Benson. Michael's older brother NASCAR legend Darrell Waltrip also owns a couple of Toyota Craftsman Trucks and it is rumoured that he will step up to Nextel Cup with Toyota.
