Here's the match video of Asuka defending her WWE Women's Championship vs Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair from last night's SummerSlam. Anyone who has read this blog in the past knows that I hate three way matches. I don't like the flow of the match. There's too much standing around. This one was no different. And Charlotte made too many mistakes. She even had a wardrobe malfunction. And then they did Bianca's phony knee injury. Look, if it's real, they stop the match and take Bianca out on a stretcher. And then they had her win the match with a small package. And afterwards they had IYO SKY successfully cash in her Money In The Bank contract to become the new champ. Even that was predictable. The whole thing was telegraphed in advance. So I am happy that IYO won the title. I just think the WWE needs to stop doing three way matches. They have worn out their welcome. Meanwhile, Mike Johnson of PW Insider reported last night that Kairi Sane is returning to the WWE. She will announce this at a press conference in Tokyo today. She has some commitments in Japan. So I don't know when she is coming. We should know after her press conference. Enjoy the video!
