Here's the match video of Asuka vs Charlotte Flair from last night's episode of RAW. This was after Charlotte attacked Asuka and Rhea Ripley last week. Early in the show, Charlotte cuts a long whiny promo calling herself The Opportunity. Asuka says "I'll beat you bitch." Charlotte invites Rhea to come to watch their match at ringside. The match is mostly angle. I'm watching the clock and they weren't going to give this match enough time to be really good. And that's because they are building to a three way match at Backlash leading to Charlotte winning Money in the Bank. The entrances take three minutes. And there was a commercial break. Plus they needed time for the post match stuff. So it wasn't much of a match. And Charlotte is clearly suffering from ring rust. She had some timing issues especially for Asuka's codebreaker. When Charlotte applies her figure eight finisher, she moves to Rhea's location so Rhea can interfere. And that leads to Asuka winning with a crucifix pin. Then Charlotte beats the crap out of the ref. This leads to a storyline fine and indefinite suspension. A lot of fans seem to think this is to write Charlotte off TV. Indefinite means it could end next week. That's what I expect. The match for Backlash will be announced and Rhea and Asuka will beg WWE official Adam Pierce to end Charlotte's suspension so they can get a piece of her. Like I said, they have plenty of time to kill until Backlash. Enjoy the video.
