At a media scrum for UFC 162, UFC president Dana White announced that UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey will defend her belt against Miesha Tate at UFC 168 Dec. 28 in Las Vegas. Of course we have known about this fight for a while but now it has a date. These two have been coaches on The Ultimate Fighter 18. The show wrapped up shooting today and will premiere in September on Fox Sports 1 in the US. Rogers hasn't announced where TUF will air in Canada. Last year it was on FX Canada but most UFC shows are moving to Sportsnet 360 so I expect this will air there too. The Score was purchased by Rogers a few months ago and rebranded yesterday as Sportsnet 360. Ronda and Miesha will never be buddies so I expect a lot of drama on TUF 18. It could be a lot of fun. The title fight should generate in excess of 500,000 PPV buys.
