Here's the match video of Rose Namajunas vs Angela Hill from last night's UFC show in Houston. After she lost the TUF 20 final to Carla Esparza, a lot of folks wanted to throw Rose on the scrap heap. Geez, she's only 23 years old. It didn't help when a scheduled fight was cancelled when her opponent missed weight and got sick. So now she is facing Angela who is a kickboxer and not really an MMA fighter. She lost her last fight to Tecia Torres who sat on her for three rounds and didn't do either of them any favours. The way to beat Angela is to take her to the mat. And that's what Rose did. Angela gave up her back and then tried to get up. That was a rookie mistake. Rose clamped on a standing rear naked choke and put Angela to sleep. Good night. Hopefully, Rose will face stiffer competition next time. I think Angela would be better off in Glory or Lion Fight. She just isn't an MMA fighter. Enjoy the video!
